Friday, October 30, Departure day
Returning Queenagers: please wear your numbered jerseys while traveling today.
- 5:00 AM, American Airlines flights. Individual departure times vary; refer to your personal confirmation. Baltimore, MD flight #1708 departs 5:00 AM; Charlotte, NC flight #1203 departs 9:03 AM.
- 12:00 PM, Lunch stop in Buffalo, NY. Location TBD, individual expense.
- 1:00 PM, Niagara Falls USA-side park view. 333 Prospect St, Niagara Falls, NY. Parking Lot #1, $10 USD per vehicle.
- 2:30 PM, Maid of the Mist meeting point (included, optional tour). Ponchos provided; you may get wet, so dress accordingly.
- 3:45 PM, Depart and cross the border into Canada. Passport required, see the Canada travel tips.
- 4:15 PM, Check in at Holiday Inn Express Niagara-on-the-Lake, 524 York Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON.
- 5:00 PM, Walmart Canada stop, 7481 Oakwood Drive, Niagara Falls, ON. May happen before the hotel depending on timing. Individual expense.
- 6:30 PM, Dinner and pajama party in the hotel conference room. Included: pizza, chicken, sides, tea or lemonade, and a dessert tray. Recommended pajama colors: red, white, or black.
- 7:30 PM, Group meeting: announcement of the Queen for the Weekend and suggestions for next year's trip location.
- 8:00 PM, Games and pajama party.
Saturday, October 31, A full day of adventure
Please wear your Queenager shirt today; a long-sleeved white shirt or under-layer is recommended depending on weather.
- 7:00–10:00 AM, Complimentary hot breakfast buffet at the hotel.
- 10:30 AM, Depart for Outlet Collection at Niagara, 300 Taylor Road. Meeting point: Tim Hortons entrance. Discount books provided by Guest Services. Individual expenses.
- 12:00 PM, Scenic drive through Niagara-on-the-Lake, including the NOTL downtown clock and Queen's Royal Park. Group photo at the gazebo.
- 1:30 PM, Between the Lines Winery, 991 Four-Mile Creek Rd. Charcuterie picnic and wine tasting included; additional wine or souvenirs are individual expenses.
- 3:00 PM, Clifton Hill, Canadian side. Parking $30 CAD per vehicle; see Rosie for assistance. Attractions are individual expenses, the SkyWheel ($15) has a great view of the falls.
- 6:30 PM, Dinner recommendation: Kelsey's Bar & Grill in Clifton Hill (optional, individual expense). Happy hour 3–5 PM and 8 PM to close.
- 8:00 PM, Night view of the falls and BeaverTails, directly across from Kelsey's. Mobility-challenged guests will be dropped off at the illumination viewing area.
- 9:00 PM, Depart for the hotel. Some groups may stay later, optional.
Sunday, November 1, Free time & fashion show
- 7:00–10:00 AM, Complimentary hot breakfast buffet.
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Free time. Revisit the outlet mall, swim in the indoor pool, or explore the area.
- 3:15 PM, Runway fashion show at the hotel. Theme: masquerade mask, any color attire and accessories. Contest for the best mask!
- 4:00 PM, Depart the hotel for dinner.
- 5:00 PM, Dinner at Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse, 6671 Fallsview Blvd. Brazilian-style dinner and soft drinks included; alcoholic beverages are individual expenses. Bring comfortable shoes in case the group revisits the falls after dinner.
Monday, November 2, Homeward bound
- 6:30–9:30 AM, Complimentary hot breakfast buffet.
- 9:30 AM, Departure and check-out.
- 9:45 AM, Gas stop for vehicles.
- 10:00 AM, Depart for the airport. Buffalo, NY flight #1203 departs 12:58 PM.
